ACCELERATING THE WORLD'S TRANSITION TO SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Fieldbot is an agriculture robotics company that provides high-value proprietary machine automation and electric power systems solutions for the global agriculture equipment market. Fieldbot's mission is to create highly profitable and sustainable farming methods that conserve water and energy, reduce agrochemical usage, eliminate pesticide spray drift, mitigate nitrogen leaching and runoff, and lessen the environmental impact of production agriculture.
"It will be a giant field robot." -Chief Executive Officer at Valmont Industries (Valmont acquires startup Prospera for $300 million)
New Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES universally add more capability, precision, reliability, and intelligence to any existing “start-stop move” irrigation pivot. These smartly repurposed high-speed "constant move" irrigation pivots, when newly used to more effectively apply costly crop protectants, e.g., pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, as all-electric, autonomous alternatives to conventional petroleum-based application methods such as ground sprayers and aircraft, provide a massive return on investment to the customer resulting from significantly higher crop yields at much lower production costs with no gas or diesel emissions.
“For commercial growers of high-value potato crops, the single greatest ‘pain point’ is the application of crop protectants. As for prescribing the right product-market fit to fulfill this unmet need, Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES are those rare must-have ‘painkillers’ in a vast sea of nice-to-have AgTech vitamins.”
The total addressable market for Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES is estimated at over 10 billion dollars just in modernizing the more than 570,000 slow, electromechanically driven “start-stop move” irrigation pivots watering over 100 crop varieties in 100 countries worldwide.
"The mechanized irrigation market is no longer simply one of sprinklers, water, and pipe. It is now a vast, untapped marketplace for technology, power, and data."
ADDING MORE CAPABILITY AND PRECISION AT SCALE
Today, there exists a unique opportunity to advance worldwide production agriculture toward more sustainable, profitable, and environmentally and climate-friendly farming methods using modern Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES that easily and cost-effectively retrofit onto conventional large-scale agriculture equipment already placed and operating in a global agriculture equipment aftermarket.
Benefits of converting irrigation pivots to high-speed constant move include:

ADVANCING NEXT-GENERATION PROPRIETARY CONTROLS
The MOCB (motor optimization controller board), notably referred to as Fieldbot Inside™, is at the core of all Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES.
This next-generation intelligent networked digital technology platform utilizes advanced hardware and proprietary software to maintain synchronous system alignment at the full range of low to high irrigation pivot speeds via patented variable-speed motor control and performance optimization.
The custom and exclusive MOCB uniquely enables manual remote tower-by-tower drive control and smart diagnostics to identify and alert individual wheel tower "safety out" faults whenever the system unexpectedly shuts down.
In addition, to further improve overall system reliability, the first-of-its-kind MOCB networked architecture enables continuous monitoring of electric motor data while maintaining critical machine functions utilizing cloud connectivity with over-the-air programming and onboard GPS for positioned-based predictive analytics (U.S. Patent 10,384,557) at each wheel tower.
ACHIEVING PRODUCT-MARKET FIT WITH UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY
Over the last several years, with a well-seasoned, industry-expert team and extensive talent ecosystem, Fieldbot developed, patented, and successfully implemented a highly profitable “constant move” power electronics MOC (motor optimization controller) powered by an intelligent networked digital technology platform. Combining the new MOC with a high-speed electric motor has produced the mechanized irrigation industry’s first fully integrated Irrigation Powertrain System™.
The universal MOC with high-speed electric motor packaged solution is 100% compatible with all existing irrigation pivot OEM main panel and tower box controls. This unique one-of-a-kind feature of the new MOC requires absolutely no change to the existing irrigation pivot controls, including the percent timer, overwatering timer, safety microswitch, and industry-standard "start-stop move" microswitch, nor the addition of any costly analog sensors and tower alignment hardware (U.S. Patent 10,130,054, U.S. Patent 10,165,741). The MOC utilizes all existing irrigation pivot span cables, power wires, control wires, and safety circuits.
REPURPOSING ANY IRRIGATION PIVOT ANYWHERE
Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES are low-cost, simple-to-use, easy-to-maintain, and non-invasively interface with all brands of mechanical and computerized main panels and remote telemetry systems. And now with only two components to install onto the base beam of each wheel tower, installation time is only a short "one-hour per tower". Best of all, all legacy controls remain fully intact and no unused components ever need to leave the field if renting ground or rotating crops.
Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES are the ultimate sustainable solution for repurposing any irrigation pivot over any crop anywhere.
BUILDING A PROPRIETARY DATA CHANNEL
As part of the end tower MOC and located up on top of the span pipe directly above the crop, the RDM (remote data module), aka Rdat™, collects and uploads to the cloud both geo-referenced machine data utilizing onboard GPS and high-quality crop data captured in real-time with integrated hi-res RGB and infrared cameras. In addition, the RDM uniquely enables over-the-air programming and remote supervisory control of every MOCB on the network.
Future Vision Intelligence™ powered by CVML (computer vision machine learning) will come standard with all Fieldbot PRECISION UPGRADES for 24/7 leaf-level imaging and mass cultivation of high-quality crop data used in the training of real-world AI engines that will ultimately power and compute tomorrow's multibillion-dollar license-based agentic AI Agronomist™.
"The real beneficiaries of AI are going to be those with proprietary data." -Cathie Wood, Chief Executive Officer at Ark Invest
